Marshbank Park was deeded to the Township in 1987 from the Huron Clinton Metropolitan Authority. The park saw extensive renovations in 2010 with funding from a MDNR Trust Fund grant and Township capital improvement bonds. It is home to many special events throughout the year including the summer concert series, family camp out night, trick or treat trail and children’s concerts.

Dodge No. 4 State Park is a public recreation area covering 139 acres on the north shore of Cass Lake in Oakland County, northern Metro Detroit, Michigan. The state park occupies a mile of shoreline on the 1,280-acre lake.
A sandy beach and a one-mile shoreline on Cass Lake makes Dodge #4 State Park an excellent location for summer and winter water activities.

The West Bloomfield Woods Nature Preserve is located south of Pontiac Trail in the middle of the Township, along the West Bloomfield Trail. The Preserve was the first in Michigan to receive recognition as an Urban Wildlife Sanctuary from the National Institute for Urban Wildlife.
The 162 acre preserve is frequented by over 100 bird species as well as white-tail deer, red fox, coyote, weasel, mink and salamanders. Great carpets of white trillium and yellow trout lilies thrive under mature oak and hickory trees. Large black walnuts and wild dogwoods can also be found within the preserve.
